In hub, pinch to filter unread only, and spread to revert back.
When you are in HUB, pinch inn to view all unread messages.

    Hi guys,

Just FYI ... this feature is actually customizable. So you can change what you see when you execute the pinch gesture. If you go into your Display and Actions menu in the settings section, you can change it from the default of "unread messages".

    Here are your options:
    - Priority messages
    - Flagged messages
    - Draft messages
    - Meeting invites
    - Sent messages
    - Level 1 alerts.

This is an amazing feature by Blackberry and the fact that you can change what this gesture does is fantastic.

Hold any key outside of an app will automatically bring up a window asking to set up a speed dial for that key.

For anyone new to BB10, hold down play/stop media key pulls up BlackBerry Assistant (though I wish they will allow us to verbally call it up in a later update, say like give us the option to give Assistant a custom name and use that to call it up without buttons)

Like Allisos said, the focus frame comes back when you move the camera and it needs to refocus or you can call it back up by just tapping on the screen.

Not really a tip, but the new OS allows you to set different colors for each hub account in Hub settings.

Nice to separate work and personal Emails at a glance.

Yes the voice to text is a very cool feature, but I'm a little self-conscious about using it in public and you still have to go back to insert punctuation; but otherwise, potential to be a real time saver.

[QUOTE=thymaster;11050658]Wow this is great. I hesitated on trying this feature before because of bad experiences with Android and iOS. They were never accurate and it was time consuming for me to go back and fix all the mistakes. I just tried the blackberry version and so far it's been 100% accurate for me. I don't understand how an underdog like Blackberry speech recognition is beyond better then Apple and Google boggles me.

BB10 feature, not just Passport. Recognition is better on Passport but all learn the more you use it.

On the virtual keyboard if you hold the @123 key it will bring up the virtual keyboard and you can use the letters on your physical keyboard to type out numbers brackets underscores etc.

In the unlock screen that asks you to enter your code, press cancel, then swipe down from the top all the way to the bottom - your phone goes to sleep showing the usual red clock.

Sorry, wandered into this thread from elsewhere. This works on my Z10, don't know if it does on Passport.

It does work on the passport. It's my normal procedure for activating bedside mode.

    Great hints. Thanks to all.

    - triple tapping the keyboard to bring up the magnifying glass. I have seen people say it is tap twice but it always takes three for me.

    - when hitting compose in the hub, your accounts get assigned a letter, so you can do C then B for a BBM message or C then S for a text message.

Simply say period, question mark, etc. and it'll insert punctuation.

Press U in hub to go to next unread message.

We know that hold your finger down on text will select a word. If you hold longer it will select more and more. From sentence to paragraph etc. Works in browser and documents.

    - I just discovered this feature by playing around with my phone. Click the power button 3x and the screen reader option will appear. Double tap with two fingers to turn on screen reader. To turn screen reader off click the power 3x again.

    - To capture screen image press the the volume up and down key at the same time.

    - To do a master reset hold down the volume up and down for a few seconds until the screen turns black.

    - In music player app, skip to next song by holding up volume button for 2 seconds. To go to previous song press and hold down button for 2 seconds (will work even on lock screen).

    - In music player app, press middle button to pause music (will work even on lock screen).
