Any headphone is fine.. I am using bose,philips,pansonic,skullcandy and many.. u need to have the neutron music player for best sound output which has so many features. U can optimise as per ur headset..

Currently own Beats urbeats space gray, Klipsch i7x, and NOCS n500's. The worst ones are Ajays 5 due to heavy cable and earbud angle super uncomfortable.

Klipsch i7's have the best sound quality and fit.

Do you use an amp for those? Considering their impedance, they are a bit hard to drive, I tried them on the Passport and it drove me nuts.

Also tried the Allen & Heath Xone XD-2 53 but they were too big for my head (simply couldn't keep them on) and they had the same impedance as the M50's, which is 38, if I recall correctly.

So now I'm on a pair of 32 Ohms Technics (fourth year and still going strong) fitted with a gold plated Oyaide plug, using Poweramp as the player.

Sony mdr-xb950bt and when I need some serious bass skullcandy crusher. But to be honest they both sound better when I use my ipod kinda made me sad o well saves my phones battery

Gonna be honest, but no. I don't mind it that much, but I probably should invest in a good amp for it, mainly since a lot of owners recommend it when I read up on the headset.

Sennheiser earbuds, in combination with the Neutron Music Player, have provided me with some pretty fine sound on both my Z30 and Passport. Although the quality of the headset makes a real difference in sound, the Neutron Music Player makes a bigger difference and is a must for audiophiles using the Passport.

Yes oem,the ones that came with!Most if not all up down will not work only the single button for pause play and activating BlackBerry assistant is active only!

Over ear: audio technica m50 red

Since passport doesn't support dac/amp ie: JDS lab portable dac amp, plus my headphone doesn't require amp to drive, I am fine with neutron + flac files on the go.
