I got this: an car vent mount.

(Just check the measurements of your device, and the width that this mount opens to.)
Check that this vent mount is within range. With that solid steel frame. no problems.
Mine fits very well. I left it with my EZPass in it to free up the spring for few days.
Now, my passport fits even better. It sits right up at eye level with the dashboard. Great position for Blackberry Maps App.
Very few dollars to get and very few headaches!!
