Hello, I have an OTG cable and I plugged an USB Stick with some files there, and my phone won't do anything about it. I know for sure the stick is good and the cord is good cause it works on Classic, DTEK50, PRIV and Z30, why is it not working on the Passport?

I assume you've tried rebooting the phone?

Otherwise, you may have to do a clean install of the OS.

Filesystem? BB10 supports FAT only. If your storage device is formatted as exFAT you need to download driver.

If so, why the other two BB10 devices recognized the USB Stick immediately?

What filesystem is your USB drive anyway? exFAT?

And if it is exFAT, did you install the exFAT driver on all of your BB10 devices? Should be automatic if you insert a SD card over 32GB.

So, here is the thing. I ran into this issue before.

    It just won't work.

It's supposed to, there's nothing wrong with the phone from an OS post of view or anything.

    It just doesn't work.

I used to plug in my 16gb USB, and nothing. Working fine on my new phone, working fine I the Z30, the passport just didn't feel like it.

Plugging in a 1gb SD card via an adaptor worked fine (surprisingly) and even other USB sticks worked fine, not all, but most.

But the passport just doesn't like some USB stick, and they refuse to work. Period. No solution.

True, the Q10 and Z30 detects them all, even my external 3.0 harddrive, the Passport detects just whatever it wants.. I got my 128gb USB drive working but I can't get the other one lol so I have no idea. It just desnt work. End of discussion.
