    I encounter a problem a second time! It does not suddenly cease to see the SIM card due to its urgent removal and reconnection. The problem is not in hardware 100%

    You can try to install a clean version of the OS to confirm it's not software:

    Download to PC, unzip, plug in device, run.

    The device will be wiped in the process.

    Remove SIM, wipe the SIM clean (physically), reboot device by holding down the power button for twelve seconds, then re-insert your SIM card.

    if you have data on the SIM, back it up to computer quick...

    buy a new SIM...

    many providers will replace SIM free...

    I vaguely recall some had SIM slot fail...
