I was doing a security wipe on my passport and inadvertently interrupted and got the bberror.com/bb10-0015. will a autoloader fix this ? second problem don't they only work on windows? I have a Mac Thanks, Rick

Can you run boot camp, or use another computer for a few minutes?

Ok I guess the answer to Boot camp is a no, I need an optical drive and that was removed years ago in favour of another hard drive

Download to PC, unzip, plug in phone, run autoloader.

Hey Rick,

There are versions of Windows you can install just for this purpose on a Mac without having to buy them. You'll have to set up USB passthrough for your Berry but that can be done as well. Let me know if you're interested and I can provide further instructions.

As for the library, well...it's better than nothing, but since it involves downloading random software from MEGA and installing drivers, etc. you may not want to go that route if you can avoid it.

interesting as I don't have any thing like parallels I might brace for the worse and go and try the library of if all else fails I will try son in laws laptop when we drive up t Fort Nelson for thanksgiving, I just have a tired old Mac (2011) I have the file from MEGA that co nit suggested so if I can find a seat at Library maybe...

I know that it is a little bit late to answer but you can just install virtual box and install a copy of windows that you can legally download from Microsoft site and do whatever is necessary and than delete it or use it(and maybe get a cheap win key)

Hi guys thanks for you support. I downloaded the Autoloader from MEGA on to a thunb drive and took phone drive and cable to my Daughters for thanks giving and used her Microsoft. Long drive Edmonton AB to Fort Nelson BC for dinner and return a couple days later. Just got back, New OS in Blackberry Passport SE, all is well now just to sell it, Thanks again, Rick

Best option is to wipe OS completely by SIC Multiwipe.
Then install autoloader.
U needs windows for the above app to run.

Download SIC multiwipe on windows.
Install it, connect your phone.
It will clear OS completely.
Then install the appropriate autoloader.
Done!

It's not useless, it worked for my passport when I got error/bb10-0015.

I was not able to restore through link.
Then downloaded SIC it cleaned the OS and I could easily install 10.3.3 autoL.

The autoloader itself would have worked just fine.

SIC Multiwipe is a joke - it just uses the wipe command over and over (6 times, including one with nuke). Complete voodoo and unnecessary.

It did not work with autoloader for me, it wipes 6 times if u choose to.
It didn't solve with only autoloader for me. Don't know why!

Something else happened coincidentally for you then - but it wasn't SIC. You can review the actual code if you like.
