They don't seem to work. Can anyone else confirm this behaviour? I use then a lot, so it's a bit frustrating.

They do work for me. Make sure they are enabled from the volume settings.

All seems to be working fine for me. I had a few problems on 10.3.0.1154 , so just curious which OS you are running...

Nada even with the "on" configuration in that profile still doesn't work for me. However my Sony stereo bluetooth mw600's work fine for up/down volume control. As for my wired headset I'm using Nocs n500's. I've tried a few other headsets as well and none of the volume keys on the wired mic work.

Tried: dre Urbeats, ajay5, skull candy, and monster dna.
Volume up/down do not work on any of these wired headsets.

Tested on Apple earbuds and Beats and the volume buttons on the cable don't work here either.

    I'm running 10.3.0.738

I guess it's a software issue then? I haven't tried with my over ear headphones yet.

For me my Bluetooth set works well. But the in-ear set I have only responds to the play/mic key, not the volume buttons. They do on my Q10, so I would say it is software related.

Yes bluetooth wrks great and not issues but I've tried a few different in line tri-control in-ear headsets and yeah call button wrks but volume up down do not. Ajay5's,urbeats,nocsn500,and skull candy volume up/down do not wrk.

Aren't apple earbuds different ? I think they are specifically designed for iPhone... not 100% compatible with other phones

No, they are no different. They just cost more and come in fancy, artsy packages.

Interesting point though. The BB Passport earbuds don't have volume controls on them, just play and pause/stop.

Yes just to clarify, it's the in-line up/down controls on the mic wire NOT on the device.

It hasn't worked, in my experience. It's quite unfortunate, as I liked how BlackBerry is one of the few other than Apple devices that worked flawlessly with headphone volume controls.
