OP, sorry for all of the flack you got from your post. I was experiencing similar problems to you before the latest BB10 OS update. It was near impossible to type in the chat section on the web version of the facebook app (which is now one and the same with the "native BB10 version). The browser seems to be improved and have fixed this issue on the latest 10.3.3 update.

If you have found an app that has solved it for you however, that's great too!

I don't surf facebook much or check pages on there but I do need access to messages. For this, I use and am satisfied with the Android app called Disa. The current version runs well on BB10.

While a warning on 3rd party app sites is always something to keep in mind, getting apps thru the Playstore via Cobalt is a great feature for app security, APKMirror has a very good reputation being affiliated with the Android Police fansite. Conite isn't going to steer people to a dodgy site.

The laggy typing is not just a Facebook thing. I get laggy typing all the time in the browser. Typing on Twitter through the browser is painful.

Same here, every BlackBerry I've ever owned was the same. BlackBerry os10 actually fixed it greatly, but it didn't eliminate it.

Just delete as per any app. If you are using 10.3.2.2876 (2838) or 10.3.2.2888 (2848), just make sure you have patched your Runtime from BBW.

Holy **** I love that website Conite... I've downloaded a few more apps from there and there is NO comparison to those apps vs the amazon play store in terms of speed and smoothness. Just wow.

I'm on 10.3.3.1435 and I'm not getting notifications in hub? And u say patched runtime is that an app or what? And what's the purpose of patched run time

I get the little bell notification in the hub after I open the app will they come thru without opening the app?
