We're unique people, do our passports make us unique or we are unique and that's why we own a passport?

Shocked when a guy in line at McDonald's pulled a passport out and started using it. The first one I have ever seen that was not in the hands of a family member.

I was also shocked at how few PP's were at the crackberry meet and greet. Seemed to be a lot more android BB's

I've seen people with the original Passport in downtown Toronto fairly often. In one instance, three of the four persons, all strangers, sitting on the "quad pod" on the train were using Passports. Nothing beats the uniqueness of that phone. Love it!

I have yet to see another person using a PP but I was in a office and one person was holding a classic, and another person using a Bold. They both looked at my passport in awe.

They are presumed to be extinct but occasional sightings have been reported.

Quite a few sightings over the years, now fewer and farther between. Last was an OG perhaps 6 months or so ago at the next table in a North York Korean restaurant.

No clue, whether I already wrote that in this thread. But I did only once.
At the Victoria Airport of Seychelles. One stewardess exchanging money at a counter had it lying on the table.

When I worked for air Canada I would see people using them regularly. I always get compliments from younger people on the form factor.

The last time I saw a BB phone of any kind in use was 2015, and it was a Torch. I used to see them all the time, especially on BART (the San Francisco Bay Area commuter train system) or in San Francisco (I have clients in the financial district), but they've been long gone from California.

Never seen another PP. I have the PPSE and everyone who sees me asks about it. I have, however seen a guy with a Priv. I asked him and he was surprised I knew what it was. Then I whipped about Ol' Silver and he was gushing over it! Asked me if I'd sell it cus that's the phone he 'really' wanted, but couldn't get it through his carrier! Come on Carriers! Anyways, i'll never sell this baby. I'm in Florida btw. No other BB10 devices reported.

Wow I can't believe it took me so long to update this! But I did see an OG Black PP while at the outlet stores about 6 months ago and it was so cool. He liked my silver one but it seemed like he had seen plenty before. Idk. But yeah so finally seen another one! Would like to see a white and a red one now...

It's been 1.5 years since I bought my Passport. In all that time, I have never seen another BlackBerry in use anywhere. Aside from a KEyOne on display at Sprint, I have seen nothing.

I do get comments from time to time from people who have no idea what I'm typing on.

Yes, even though I have parked mine, I still see the odd one here and there. When I was using mine, some people were still intrigued by it. At no time that I was aware of were the comments negative. Frankly, I miss using the form factor!

BB phones used to be EVERYWHERE here back in the BBOS days (I worked IT for a bank in the early 2000s and was issued one myself), but the Bay Area (home of Silicon Valley) was probably one of the first and fastest areas to move to iPhones and Android, and by about 2013, it became rare to see a BB phone anywhere here - and when you did, they were almost all issued by work. Similarly, the Bay Area was on the forefront of corporations moving away from BB phones to (mostly) iPhones as issue phones, or to BYOD.
