Since installing 10.3.1.1955 I have never had the flickering issue. Been on 10.3.0.1418 and updated via sachesi... it is over a week now. I keep fingers crossed for not having it again

Totally agree. It is very embarrassing to show to someone your phone and it starts flicking. Im sure this won't happen on official os.

I forget which version of 10.3 or 10.3.1 I had. And I don't know if my flickering problem was the same as everyone else's, but it was the proximity sensor that caused the flickering for me. I reverted back to 10.2 something to get rid of the issue. When a new leak came out, I installed that and my flickering issue was gone from 10.3/10.3.1 line.

I was going to post the same thing. I haven't changed my OS on the Passport and I haven't had any screen flickering in many days. I use to get it multiple times a day. Maybe a certain app updates fixed it?

Are you talking about the passport or another device? Because passport never had 10.2.1.
Just and update. I still haven't had any flickers since I last posted here.

Although quite annoying (flickering and slow camera focus) it doesn't compare to the heap of dung torch I owned. I set the all time battery pull record once held by a chimp in space.
Why fix a feature? Having arbitrary OS problems is just bringing back the good old BBOS experience!

Anyway, I wouldn't put it below AT&T to release an OS that's fundamentally flawed with their "new" device, but the general release OS really should have this 100% fixed. But, alas, since it appears to be 10.3.1.2267...

BlackBerry is probably trying to bring back the spinning hourglass for the Classic, but instead they inadvertently caused the Passport to flicker.
One can only hope one day it'll all get straightened out.

Do you have BlackBerry passport?

Well they did want users to have a Classic experience....
I went from a official 10.2.1 straight to a blitz 10.3.1.2243 and I have never seen a flicker on my Z30.
Go back to the last official software release you won't get flickering!
Yeah, but since what we're on now will soon be the official software...
They might have fixed it OTA. I remember a while ago, the proximity sensor would flicker a lot and it turned out to be a BlackBerry server problem which they fixed ota

I think it's more common on the passport.
Yes I think they can fix little problems like that, my thinking exactly.
After not experiencing it for nearly a week, it just happened again. <SIGH> I sure hope they figure out the cause and fix it.
It's been three or four days for me, maybe the official will be a few levels up and this gets fixed.

Thread title changed to make more relevant.
Thread moved out of Leaked OS Forum since this is a Passport-only issue.
Me too, only once that was right after completing the Non Destructive Load. Now it seems to have disappeared.

Maybe "has blackberry fixed the screen flickering " that was the OP's intent. Wondering if they somehow resolved it without us knowing.

It was but hey it could be my great spelling and details that confused him.
