I don't think it does. But a higher app user would be better at answering this question...

Hmm a guy a few posts up brings up a good point. Apps. I'm not a huge app head, but apps are already hard to come by for blackberry, does the passport narrow them down even further w/ its funky dynamics and screen size???
I find a lot less games. But cascades apps are generally OK : you won't find a lot of game choices though

I was at the bar drinking a lot that night and saw the Passport at the other end of the bar. I had left my Z10 at home when I bought the Passport its first drink. I awoke the next morning with the Passport next to me. No regretts.

Biggest thing I DONT miss about my Z10 is the battery life. Also the Passport is soooo much faster and smoother. The size for me is definitely a plus and I really love the square aspect ratio... No more flipping the phone to view landscape photos or videos. Even with the black bars you get at least the same viewing area as a Z10 with 16:9 multimedia. Amazingly though I find that a vast majority of things are actually 4:3 aspect ratio and view favorably on the passport.

And this is why I post here and trust you guys. I have a feeling a lot of z10 folks moved over here to the PP forum; I've asked recent questions over @ teh z10 forum and haven't gotten great responses like when the phone was fresh and new.

I'm looking forward to the purchase. the z30 will be my fallback if I hate it, but I really hope the PP fits me well. Thank you all so much for quelling my worries about the move.

Also, how did you guys make the move? Did you use the migration tool in Link? thats how I did my 9930 to z10 and it worked fantastic.

Went from Z10 to Z30 to Passport...with each iteration the phone seemed huge. Now the Passport is the absolute perfect size for me. I adore my Passport...best phone I've ever owned.

I run a Z10 and a Passport side by side. Both are great except the battery on the Z10. I want to get a Z30 to replace the Z10 because I love the woven glass back of the Z30.
Now on the PP I am keep my Z30 for many reasons and one is the GLASS WOVEN BACK

The only thing better about my Z10 was one hand-ability. But as many have said, it's a worthwhile trade off. Honestly, in most situations I have found a way to accommodate the Passport's "wideness". If you have the money, and want a physical keyboard, you won't regret your decision
i AGREE.PALMMMMMMM!!!!! lol I dont miss webOS anymore but it was the most loved OS. I for one am thankful to be off of linex and on QNX. BB10 is awesome.

I'm making the move in ~3 weeks and very excited for NUMEROUS reasons, but a bit scared that the phone will be too big/unreliable/hard to hold/hard to get back into using a physical keyboard etc.
I moved from Q10 for 2 weeks already. No regrets. Just do it.

I didn't transfer anything. I set up all things fresh from scratch. Moved my memory card from my Z to my Passport. I still have my Z10 if I decide I need anything off it. So far I haven't. Sometimes it's just nice to start with a clean new phone and add things back as needed.

And I backed up Password Keeper on my memory card before I swapped it. Easiest was to move that data IMHO.

Ah, the days of watching the PALLLMMMMMMM guy rage brings back fond memories. But I admit I still miss WebOS. In fact, I sometimes imagine what the smartphone world would look like if HP hadn't destroyed WebOS...how robust could the OS be now. What great hardware it could be running on. Oh well
