I noticed that you're using an original Passport. After owning my original after a few days, it definitely feels more of a workout than my SE.

Not only do my thumbs feel tired sooner but I also don't type as fast either since each key requires more effort for input.

This definitely doesn't seem to be a good device for people with arthritis.

In what way does the SE differ from the OG as far as the area near the KB other than the chin height? I have never seen the SE...

Having used both, the SE keyboard is definitely more comfortable to type with because the keys are softer.

I don't notice the difference with the extra chin.

I'm sure these hands are more relevant... it is possible to operate our Passport with single hand...

It'll take time it's just like yanking. You yank one out and hands hurt, but you yank enough times and your muscles will adjust. I hate yanking weeds, gotta rework muscles every spring. I guess that's part of owning a garden.

Curse my weak hands, I was lying down browsing the web last night and BAM! Smacked right in the mouth by this brick. That'll teach me to play with my phone when I should be trying to sleep. Rude awakening!

This thing is amazing. Works with Classic, PP, or any other device.

The sticky eventually wears off, but I just superglued it to a case. Works perfect. No fear

Had those hits in the face with the OG passport too.
Waited 12 months and I didn't get used to it at all. The Silver is more ergonomic. Better keys too

I've had my Passport for about a month now and I'm enjoying the screen and reading/surfing experience.
But it's the typing which is becoming an issue. My hands feel strained all the time, especially with my fingers wrapped behind the device and little finger supporting the Base.

    Anyone else facing this problem?

Either the keys will work in over time or your fingers will get stronger

I would not want to put anything like that on my phone. In my opinion, it looks pretty ugly.

    Agreed!
A case to cover the sharp edges is an idea.
