Same here. Was at the airport and thought, if the Passport has to be somewhere it is at the airport shopping mall. A lot of business and business people. And yes! 2 demo devices and a display with advertising! Man! Got my hand on one and yes it is bigger then I thought. But felt good. No typing with one hand for me. But then again it is all personal and every device has its own purpose. Screen and size is just perfect. 10.3 is great. I miss the word prediction on the space bar but ok
Then this Nigerian men came with a bold 9900 in his hands and just bought 2 Passports! And didn't even know about BB10.. ;-)

Went to ATT to get my nano sim and had two reps help me. Got it one in 10 mins and works flawlessly. Anyhow, the guy was definitely interested and even played with it for a minute. Obviously they had no idea it was coming to ATT, but at least it's eye catching. haha

Same, was at atnt and the reps literally took my phone and was browsing the Web with it and going crazy with the swipe enabled keyboard. They had no clue passport existed and asked me how I bought it and where I heard about it. They looked at my account and asked if I was a tech blogger because I already had iphone6 plus as my listed device.

Thank god this John Chen guy showed up and to the design team for making this breakthrough device!

Went into CPW for a passport but they don't stock it however they bloke behind the counter showed me his own one.

It is bigger than I expected but there is something really special about it.

The purpose for non-removable battery is it's engineered to save space so that they can increase the battery size and capacity to at least 30% more. I'd rather have 30% bonus battery juice then have a removable battery back with 30% less juice.

Why??? personally i think non removeable batteries are the way to go now before i was againsgt removeable batteries but with the Passport, it just keeps on going and going. I thought my Z30 was immense battery wise but the Passport completely and utterly blows it out of the water.

Seriously you are missing out on a tremendous device because of your dislike of non removeable batteries.

Bought a Z30 from someone who bought a Passport and got to play with it for a bit. I was a little surprised at how manageable it was after reading so many posts about it being huge. It really wasn't, but yea, it does have a major drool factor. That's my next BlackBerry!

I was in a trip to Germany. I've been checking for it to Media Markt but there no trace of it. Finaly I found it to Vodafone Shop (bussiness section).

I had to possibility to play with it for some minutes. It is a very good looking. A very nice handset and very well build. The apps run very fast. The screen is great and the hub is very nice.
The 10.3 OS looks great in PP.

The only thing I could hardly manage was making calls. Its very good for working but it's a big mobile phone for phone calls.
I'm sure the next generation will be perfect.

Yeeaaah! PassPort is officially available in Lagos Nigeria, no launch as usual, sold through BlackBerry's main dealer Slot.com, current price $850. I went into the store a few minutes ago, I was soooo tempted to snap it up right away, but I can wait a few more weeks, save some $ off the new kid in town price. Absolutely no exaggeration with the positive reviews, this phone is slamming! Best part for me, fits right into my front shirt pocket!

As far as BlackBerry phones go, we always have the best prices you can get anywhere in the world for SIM free phones, don't know why, it's just how it is and I know if I can wait it out for a month, it will hit the $700 or less.....if I can wait it out, got the jitters already!

Just buy it that's all I can say. Unless you think there's another upcoming phone you would prefer. Like a Z10 or Z30 upgrade. I'm on my second Passport already and I can't see giving it up for anything in the near future.
