People are saying that one draw back to the Passport is that you won't be able to type with one hand.

This is true and is a good thing. Here's why...the only time I am tempted to type with one hand is while driving. Yes, it's illegal and wrong but don't tell me you have never done it...come on.

Anyway, rocking a Passport removes that temptation. So, if everyone gets this phone we will have safer roads.

    Success!!

    Wat.

That being said, I already find it rather hard to type one handed on my Q10. It was much easier to type one handed with the flick-up words feature on the Z10. Since we're getting the same feature with the Passport, I can only imagine it being easier to type one handed on than the Q10.

one handed typing shouldn't be a problem on the passport. After seeing the pictures of it in hand, it doesn't look to be as big/wide as first thought.

I have the hands of a man, so I will use them to man handle this device.

.... And I was going to suggest BlackBerry market a double din head unit / satnav that the passport would clip into as a detachable face plate.

Typed with one hand. Glass of wine in the other.

I couldn't agree more, as a avid motorcyclist my biggest worry is the folks who text and drive.

I have had more people almost run me off the road because they are texting and driving and not paying attention to the road.

Qwerty devices aren't meant to be used with one hand typing anyway

    Oh but they are.
Qwerty devices can be used with only occasional glances at the keyboard.
You can keep a grip on the front as well as the back of the phone while typing.

I may be more manly than most, but I'm not stupid. Texting while driving is just as dangerous as drinking and driving.
