I had a hardware issue with the Mic and just got my replacement from Rogers. I decided to start fresh as I hate transferring from Link.

Should I go to .2744 or make the "leap" to 10.3.2.680?

I was going to get it done tonight after work and don't want to have to go thru pages of findings and fixes if at all possible.

    Opinions welcome....

The best is 10.3.2.680. I'm using it. But please be well warned that you CANNOT go back to any previous version if anything goes wrong or if it turns out you do not like any of the features.

Use the autoloader for the easiest method. Use Sachesi if you wish to tinker a bit. Either way, make a backup first if you wish to retain any data from your current version--contacts, app data, etc.

    Good luck.

Go with 2744 for now till you are sure the replacement is working as it should. Should take you no more then a week or two. If all is well then jump to 680.

What are the new features you are referring to? I'm just curious as I have a few BB10s and there doesn't seem to be anything tempting me to try 10.3.2 especially knowing that I can't turn back if needed.

The jump from 10.2 to 10.3 was a significant jump with a ton of new features worth updating to over waiting for the carriers. From what I've read I haven't seen much for 10.3.2.

To the OP, if you really have the itch to update right away to 10.3.2.680 on your new device I'd recommend at least running BBVE and doing every test first. This way you will know that the replacement's hardware is all functioning properly.

    1.Battery improvements (atleast for me)
    2. Swipe using passport keyboard between home page and apps and hub
    3. New private browser window opens
    4. Less step required for using private browser as its available along with newtab option
5 touch anywhere on screen to silence ringer for incoming call
    6. Using passport keyboard for zooming in browser through pinching
7 android runtime 4.4( I think as I dont use any android apps)
These are the ones that I can recall for now.. you can head to finding and fixes thread for more insights on leak by going through 600+ posts

So for me its a improvement coming from 10.3.1.2576 to 10.3.2.680
Edit: uses less ram now and less battery lost on standby and device is snappier now

Just go for the official OS for now. 10.3.2 is very stable but camera sucks. The autofocus is all over the place again like 10.3.0. If you do decide to go for 10.3.2 be caution that you can not go backward just like everyone mentioned.

10.3.2.798 is coming officially. This is the best version yet. IF blend doesn't work, download the beta for both phone and PC.
