Please!!!! Post new detailed instructions I took my beloved blackberry AT&T pssport to a programmer, he followed all instructions and playstore continues to crash, any ideas?
Remove the old Play Store and then install the new one. How can this possibly go wrong?
Worked for me, thx! :)

Delete Play Store build1 and install Play Store build2.
okay so running the same problems as everyone else on my Classic so downloaded the new files.
But exactly what is the step process to re-install??
Thank u
Uninstall the play store using device manager (on the device itself), then re-install the new play store. Simple.
so follow the original post, but with the new play...
Nope, even easier. Swipe down from the home screen, select device monitor. Tap on storage, then select "play store". Hit "close", then "clear data", then select "yes", then uninstall it. Once done, launch the file manager, and select it, and then hit install. Once installed, launch it.
Thank you Rootbrain
it took a minute, mainly cause i downloaded the same version, but after picking the right one I went from "stopped running" to an ACTUAL DOWNLOAD
THANK YOU
I'm on the OG Passport and the Play store stop working for me too. I followed the instructions by removing build one. Installed build 2. I'm back up and running better than before. Once the files are downloaded onto the blackberry you have to manually install about 4 or 5 APK's and you're good to go.

Cobalt's file share (download to PC and move files over to device):
https://mega.nz/#F!lIUWjSSQ!yoLoiNX3PNG3Sef1Fa_fMA
Install and login with 4.3.3.
Install and register with 2.8.
Install Play Store v6 build2.
***Stop here if all you want is Play Store
Install Play Services v11.
Install 4.4.4 (but don't open after)
Install Play Games v5 (if desired).
Install whitelist 1.0.0.6.
***If an app requires Google Play Services, then:
Download app with Cobalt's Play Store (but don't install).
Whitelist unpatched app.
Patch app on PC with Play Services Patcher 1.6 using defaults settings.
Install patched app.
If after all that, your app still doesn't work, then it's simply not compatible with BB10.

You don't need to patch WhatsApp, just tap outside the warning box.
