Just got an email advert about the Priv now available for purchase from AT&T. Well, it has been fun owning a flagship device....at least for a few months. Now I guess I'm back to being just another commoner. Me and my "old school" passport....

I'm not convinced the Priv is necessarily better. May have some better specs but the Passport is still the flagship BB10 device

I bought the Passport (SE) only few weeks ago. No vintage-car feeling at all! Instead, unique shape, unique display, unique keyboard, unique work-experience, the camera could be a bit better, all right, but to me that doesn't matter. It is good enough to meet all my needs in all situations, to take brilliant shots. Besides, an awesome processor - I think I listed the main points.

    I forgot: phantastic battery!

The Passport is still the flagship true BlackBerry.

I'd take my Silver Edition Passport, or any variant of it, over the Priv any day.

The Priv is cool for Android users, or BlackBerry users who may not be too attached to BlackBerry10, and really want apps more than they want BlackBerry 10's native features.

I'm still loving BlackBerry10, and the Priv isn't going to make my Passport feel too bad.

-- and most importantly, NOT just another Android for Google to raid your files. Instead, a phone running the super-elegant BlackBerry 10!

The passport is friggin fantastic. I love mine. Everytime I pick mine up I find something new you can do. I'm talking about the shortcuts and features. This phone just blows me away. I have had mine for a year. I think It's going to be difficult prying this phone out of my hands.

My white Passport still looks and feels like a premium device. And it's running the best OS.

Every time I have a little flirt with an Android device, I come running back to BB10. Feels like home.

Until they make another BB10 device, the Passport will continue to be a flagship.

Agreed! Priv look mediocre to me. Besides the keyboard, nothing is a wow factor to me

To call a company's phone a flagship, in my humble opinion, it would need to be that company inside and out. The Passport is all BlackBerry, hardware and software. The Priv is BlackBerry hardware but Android software. Sure it's got tweaks and snippets of BlackBerry apps here and there, but not pure BlackBerry 10 like on the Passport.

I can't regard the Priv as a true BlackBerry phone. It is an Android.

Got the email announcing the Priv this morning. The first line is that the Khardasians are getting them. I guess it's the only way to survive in today's cell phone market. I'm keeping my PP!

I can't speak about Priv as I don't have one and not planning to get one. Have been using passport for more than a year, honestly I am a very heavy user working in a medical center, yet it has no signs of being old. Everything is smooth apart from occasional glitches here and there. Overall, imo it's still the flagship among all smartphones I have used (10yrs). No worries OP, as long as passport meets ur work style and it will always be the flagship + unbeatable BB10.
