I would love to see a good Canadian come back from this device as well. Why not give Canadians the price point of $599 on its official retail website as well? I'm sure it will motivate a few more people to try to phone if given a limited time $100 discount like the Americans.

I wouldn't hesitate to order a Passport ASAP if the price were $599 CAD. With 13% taxes in Ontario plus the cost of shipping, I don't want to pay over $800 for the $699 price tag.

If BlackBerry wants a great come back story from Canadians, then they'd better show us some love too.

I agree... $699 + shipping + tax... that's very close to the starting price of iPhone 6. So why can Blackberry offer $100 to under cut Apple and Samsung to attract customers in the USA but not Canada?

In the passport release Chen said he's pulling out all the stops to win Canadians.... but gives $100 discount to USA only. what bs. I think he got Canadians and Americans mixed up.
