The end of an era for me...

I've been with Blackberry since 2009 (I think... I had the slide phone that came out around that year)

My passport broke, the lock button wasn't responding anymore... I didn't want to get it fixed because well we all know BB is going downhill... no more FB, half broken apps...

I made the switch to iphone and here are the major differences I noticed:

- Keyboard: obviously, a physical keyboard and a digital one will never be the same (I miss my physical keyboard)
- the LED: iphone people pretend its not a game a changer but it actually is a VERY nice feature that I truly miss
- the HUB was magnificient
- the notification system in general (when not broken) is better on BB than apple, especially regarding the lock screen, SMS and emails
- I thought the call quality was better on my BB but then I'm not 100% sure...
- Apps: no comparison... just none to be made, apple has everything!! (although every app has ads which is a little annoying)
- camera is a lot better on iphone, it has more options and what not
- more sound profiles with BB
- alarm was easier to access and use with BB

All in all, if it weren't for the apps (and Im not saying they dont count for nothing because they do!!!!!!!) I found my BB Passport to be a better fit... but then again I would say that 50% of my phone usage is on apps and well BB simply doesn't have any..

Farewell BB and maybe see you in a few years if you get back on track!
