    Hi there,
i did a bit of Googling and searched various BB-forums, but so far i didn't really find a simple answer to my question, so apologies if it's already asked here at Crackberry!

Currently i use Android but i'm considering going back to BB in a month or two.

First some info: for work we are on GMail for business.
The first time i setup the work account in GMail on my Android, i had to login through webbrowser and authenticate. This is a one time thing, after that i can always read my mail in the GMail app.

The question: how does this work on BB-Passport? Do i have the option the login through webbrowser (or something) to 'first-time'set up my GMail fotr business account?

    Tnnx!

I'm not sure if there's a big difference Between regular and business Gmail but the images below show you how you add a Gmail account to your bb10.

Yes, no problem, I have a Gmail business account and works perfectly, just follow the steps described above for the initial set up.

Well guys, i received my BB-Passport yesterday and oh glory, no more
onscreen keyboard typos every two words! Hurray!

But too bad i still seem to have a problem with getting my company-gmail working.
Would be a real downer if on a business-phone this couldn't be fixed!

The fact is, the first time i added this gmail account to my Samsung Galaxy Note2 i had to do some sort of two-step authentication the first time,
through browser sign-in, which seems not to happen on the BB.
After this process a Gmail account is among my other mail accounts and i can receive, send and read mail without login in.

The steps i follow on my Samsung are

    1. I go to settings and tap 'Add account'
    2. I tap 'Google'
    3. I tap 'Existing'
    4. On the next screen that appears, i tap the phone's menu button and a
popup saying 'Browser sign-in' shows up, i tap this.
    5. The standard Google log-in screen appears, here i don't insert a at-gmaildotcom mailadress but i enter my at-ericssondotcom mail adress (yes i work at Ericsson) for username and insert my password.
    6. Then i get redirected to the companywebsite. Here i have to insert the username i received a while ago to login to the company website, which is different from my at-ericsson-company emailadress i use(d) to login to gmail. Password is the same though.
    7. After this i 'return' to the phone to configure some remaining settings.

When i try on the BB, i pretty fast get a 404-error, with "The server is unable to locate the webpage...... check the URL, etc.."

Any ideas on how to get things going on my shiny new BB?
    THNX!
