    The phone was reset to factory settings. I can get passed picking a language. It stops me at the blackberry ID part. I bought the phone off of someone and now they didnt give me their password for their bb ID. Now I cant enter my own. Help!

    There is nothing you can do without the original BBID.

    Alternatively, the seller can remove the device from his BlackBerry Protect (online), and then you can reboot your device and continue without needing it.

    Conite, you are absolutely correct. I gave one of my sons my  Z10. We did a factory reset and he had the very same problem.
    I had to remove it from my BBID before he could even complete the setup.
