I don't understand the benchmark results. Can someone please explain simply, is it good or bad or just ok?

Isn't geek bench running as an android app? That means it's running on top of the android compatibility layer.

A native bench mark app would produce a more realistic score. And probably a higher one for that matter.

The vast majority of mobile chips are variations on ARM designs. ARMv7 is the instruction set.

LG Nexus 5 single core score ranges from 213 to 1112, though. Would need a wide range of Passport benchmarks to get a definitive average score.

Definitely won't run like one.

Android is a significantly heavier OS due to the VM. Nothing runs really natively so there's a performance hit. The Passport will have much much better performance.

its not really behind. Its inline with most of the devices that have the same chipset and such. Im not sure why you expect it to magically be so much better

Because it's square lol, no I'm joking ,I was expecting BlackBerry 10 to led good performance over others, I don't understand why iPhone can have such results with ridiculous specs any thoughts ?

They develop their own chip. Its made for the OS and only for that OS and not an off the shelf offering from TI or Qualcomm.
