I'm with Verizon, and will do anything to get me a Passport now.
    My girlfriend has a Z10 and I have a Q10.

I'm going to terminate on Verizon ... sell our Verizon devices on eBay (excellent condition) since they will be useless on AT&T.

Then, sign two -year agreements on AT&T for two iPhone 6's. (About $200 ea)

Sell them on eBay. (About $550-$650ea)

$599 each for two Passport's on ShopBlackBerry.

Get the OS updates from BB fast, no more big wait... I figure...why not?

I ain't waiting until January guys!!

I think you forgot to factor in the ETFs.

He won't have ETFs if he keeps service with AT&T and just sells the phones. He will need some interim phones unless he has the cash up front. I guess he will if he still has a contract at Verizon.

As well as the $200-$300 extra, each, the 2 year contract is going to cost, at the least.

I was actually talking about Verizon, but it's possible the phones are paid off/out of contract by now.

Yeah, but most people don't look at it this way... upfront cost is frowned upon more than higher monthly fees...

Yep on AT&T having the iPhone under a two year contract will cost you an additional 360 over the contract term vs buying the phone straight out without the contracts. And that's per line! Add etf from Verizon if you have one and you're not saving any money.

More like the system is gaming you. Especially if you have ETF's for Verizon. Good luck though. I feel for the folks with Verizon who want a passport. GSM for life.

Dont forget the additional 40$ a line if you have the new mobile share plans. I actually called AT&T about this, if you buy outright or on the next plan(pay outright but broke down to monthly payments) its only a 15$ a month charge. Buying on contract its an additional 40$ a month per line.

Of course I will have ETFs on Verizon but I'd have those even if AT&T was selling the Passport today. Nothing I can do about those and I'm glad to finally ditch Verizon. I need a frickin Microcell tower to just TEXT at my house. AT&T is great service. No complaints from anyone I know with AT&T and even w/ the contract it's $180 a month for two phones.

I pay $220 for two now on Verizon. Good riddance!
