Folks,
I have taken the plunge and have just switched from an LG Nexus 5 to the Passport SE. So far I have no regrets and absolutely love my new phone!!!

Does anybody know of any good games I can waste a few moments with?

Are there any games designed natively for the Passport and it's specific screen dimensions?

Failing that I'd prefer BlackBerry store apps (BB10) vs Amazon store apps if you have any good recommendations.

Here's my choice for those rare, but valuable, spare moments and during trips when I'm done with work stuff. The first eight are from BlackBerry World and the last six from Google Play Store. Regarding NFS and Battleship, I had to restore them from old backup files from a Q10 and Z10, respectively, through BlackBerry Link.

P.S. Real Football, although available through BlackBerry World, usually gets stuck after the second test match. My workaround was to restore the game from a backup file from a Z30 which was past the second match, then I just updated through BlackBerry World and it works just fine.

I'd also recommend you change the view mode, otherwise the players look too close and you don't have enough view of the field.

Although the Passport is ideal for work, email, and communications, it's good to have some things on it to pass spare moments during trips.

Total Conquest, Asphalt 8, Spiderman Unlimited, Kiwi Wonder, Hill Racing and Zombie call are all very well adapted to the square screen.

Real Football is ok, but again has the bug I mentioned.

Troubles Land is awesome, but it's not well fitted and heats up the phone easily.

Remember you can change the viewing mode on Android apps, regardless if they are from Amazon or Google Play Store.

Check out Badland. Great visuals and very addictive and fun.

Also, for a simple but fun mobile game, you can't go wrong with Doodle Jump!

Both are available in BlackBerry World. Not free but entirely worth the price. No ads and once you pay for the game, it's yours. You will never be bothered with additional purchases.

On z30 I have real racing 3 but on my new passport silver edition it is not available! Asphalt 8 I don't like it because it is not real! I have downloaded gt racing 2 from amazon store and it is nice but has some notifications which I don't know how to stop them!
In BlackBerry world I couldn't find decent free car games!

Amazon store has a lot of apps. Retroarch - nice screen and can use keyboard as the buttons! Play all your old school games. Up to PSX). Online games works nice on the passport thanks to the fact you can use WASD for controls with a full screen. Agario, GameofBombs (bomberman mmo), I use those are mmo though with the online browser! Not sure what game you like or are in to.

Thank you for this post. I'd never heard of Mupen64+ before. It is amazing!!! I love the fact that you can create shortcuts for your games too. Now I have a few of my favorite N64 games and they run like a dream on both my Passport and my Classic!

Yeah, when you go to open a game, click on 'History', then long press on the game you want to create a shortcut for. You need to have the image file first. Usually a Google search of '____ 64 app icon' will do the trick. Basically, any image with a transparent background looks best.

This has amazingly upped my mobile gaming experience. Wouldn't be able to play these on a touch screen device but, with some creative button mapping, they are very playable with the physical keyboard!

Retroarch? You need to sideload it using Sachesi for instance. Look in the respective thread(s).

Just got Total Conquest which uses the speed and screen of PP really well

PlayBook apps work on the Passport too I've got the Angry Birds series, Duke Nukem 3D, Asphalt 6 and 7 and Modern Combat 3.
