Not Fours Years But A Lifetime
I totally agree with your Samsung tablet / BlackBerry phone combo. I use the Q10 as my daily driver. But when it comes to Twitter, browsing the Web, or when I just need a bigger screen I use a Galaxy Mega. I really contemplated on getting the note 3 but I just couldn't pull the trigger. Even my financial advisor (the wifey) to me I had her permission to get it but I just couldn't do it. But the Passport is on a whole different level....I gotta get it!

But, this time I'm going to buy the Passport only after BlackBerry drops prices to 50% of the launch price, BlackBerry having become notoriously famous for dropping prices.

Alternate between Q10, Samsung GS3 and Nokia Lumia 920. Each has its weaknesses and strengths. I'm living between 3 countries/continents so I basically have a sim card for each phone.

Q10 since Day 1
Sad...only existing Blackberry owners upgrading. Not a single iPhone and one lonely Android and Jolla user. That's not very promising.
I'm technically switching from an LG G2, but I too am a Blackberry user. This was my secondary device. I had a Z30 until fairly recently.

Q10, and I will hold onto my Q10 as a backup device. As to the issue of not seeing other OS users jumping onto the bandwagon, so what? The first priority has to be to give current Blackberry users a reason to stay.
Z10 since launch day.
