Nobody here knows.
It probably depends on which will become profitable to BlackBerry.
As I mentioned before, there are two ways to make BlackBerry profitable again. The first one is the easiest and probably cost less by using Android on their devices. The second option is to invest on most popular apps / games and make them available in native BB10 OS - since this is only the obvious reason why other users are reluctant to convert to BlackBerry in spite of the fact that its OS is one of most efficient and secured mobile phone OS in the market.
BlackBerry should realise that by adopting Android OS on their devices, they have to compete with 'specs'. They can no longer used the reason of 'efficiency' for producing mediocre devices.
The second option seems to be another risk they have to invest. But if they get it right, that will bring them straight back to mobile phone business... again...

"It probably depends"... what a fancy way to say "we have no clue".

Unless they make the devices dual-boot, to allow users to use either Android or BB10, it makes no sense for BlackBerry to continue except as a security software company which develops software for other companies' operating systems...Kind of an app shop.
Either way, if there are no native apps, those of us who do not want to register with Google and become Google slaves, have nowhere to go but something like an opensource Linux phone.
That's where mobile computing should go anyway.
These phones are mobile computers. In one year or two, there will be no difference between a phone and a computer. Just different screens and user interfaces...
