"Spokespeople for the company were not available at the time of writing."

What a surprise !! This supercilious attitude & aloof behavior is what will sink BB to the bottom... this is a serious and considered comment on my part & I would really like it to spur a lively discussion to get the eye of Chen &al to this disastrous situation. I like my Passport & would not like to see it abandoned like my HP Pre 3 which I also liked very much...

& then this... BB should respond to this vociferously and rapidly... their remaining small adherent crowd is, to a great extent, dependent on the "secure" reputation and applicability to commerce & such ...this could make the swan sing...

BlackBerry Ltd lags Apple Inc and others in issuing fix for ?Freak? security bug | Financial Post

I strongly scream to BB to heed this warning emanating from those who are invested in your product & cannot comprehend this lack of attention to image & reality... please...

10.3.1.2558 that is out for some devices and carriers. You can use an autoloader or other methods to install on the passport like myself PassportSQW100-1/10.3.1.2558

I guess it's better than nothing, and it is currently installing on my Z30, but it isn't available without a workaround on the Passport and Classic.

BlackBerry has the fix, but people with devices other than the Z30 are having to take it upon themselves to fix an issue that BlackBerry created.

Oh, no. I was talking about the issues in general with the 10.3.1 that came out on the 19th, the one that had people's Passports flickering and screen turning green in the camera, and causing Z30s to malfunction.

The FREAK thing, BlackBerry has fixed the vulnerability in the OS being pushed to Z30's but hasn't issued it for most of their devices. I would think that BlackBerry would want to push the fix to all their users on BlackBerry 10 as soon as possible, seeing as security is their big draw.
