I may be the same odd one here. I have really enjoyed the FM radio feature on the passport. Have been able to have music and news even in areas where I can't get cell is phone signal.

I have a Z30, how do you get the radio feature to work? I know it has the capability so I'm thinking it should be the same as the Passport.
Plug in your headphones that came with your phone, open your music app, and select the radio option from the bottom left menu. The wired headphones act as an FM antenna which is why I don't think bluetooth ones work (at least the ones that I have tried don't). Not sure if it will work with other wired headphones since I only use the OEM ones that came with my phone.

Wired headphones are required. All brands I have tried worked well.

Thanks guys!
great feature! Sometimes I forget that I can enable this when I walk into the city. I like listening to music, but I am ti lazy to choose it! With radio you have news and music! Thanks for the reminder!
Of course on my Q10
Thanks for the reminder. Just checked it out!

Just curious here, how much data does the FM radio use?

Used it this weekend for the first time ever.

None, it's just like any other FM radio.
I posted I get radio even when I can't get cell signal

I've used it on the Q10 and now the Z30. It's a great feature. Besides the required headphones to act as an antenna, you need a mobile connection initially to get the station lists, for whatever reason. I discovered this when I fired up the Z30 for FM, without mobile or wi-fi data being turned on.
Thank you for your reply it's nice to have but, am used to having radio in car or truck but never think of it when out for a walk, and then "where are my headphones?"

I personally use my 3.5mm to 3.5mm aux cord as antenna... works like a beast plus it's 3inch long so I carry it around everywhere

Using 3.5 mm as antenna, too :)

You use that 3 inch cord.
But the sound comes out the headphones? Or from the bottom of the Passport through the speakers?
Yeah you can select speaker as audio output

OK, Thanks.
You can also just get a little speaker with the 3.5mm aux cord and use it that way.
