    I do this already. I just miss my nokia phones that had a flashlight key on the side.

    I can't imagine the key on the side being much more handy than 2 swipes (max) and a tap. AND, it's otherwise out of the way.

    You can use a home screen shortcut or an app. Saves you at least one gesture.
