Was at Futureshop today and they have a passport for sale. My first time seeing one. The screen is big. Haha. But you know what other than the back cover not being a rubber texture which I would have expected. The phone seems pretty sold doesn't seen to big. Keyboard actually felt good an use full. To bad it was not a live demo. Just a fake. But this is future shop they had to live bb10 phones when they first came out. And they were never on or battery was dead you could never try them. And they wonder why they never sold. Lol. All in all I think I would consider giving the passport a try.

Omg, you're a crackberry addict status and you haven't seen an actual passport yet? Especially in Alberta, it's everywhere. Hehe

The Passport is a phone you need to see to really believe. The size is one thing but to see it on and get to use it is another story. No stores in the U.S. have them, so I got it without seeing it in-person first. I'll never go back to anything else!

Same here, I read the reviews on the CB site, seeing the device in Mr Chens hand gave me a hint of the size and scale, so the day it was launched, I went for it and not turning back.

Tried to go back to the iPhone 6, but after a couple of days I was missing the Hub, Peak and OS10. Ended up selling the iPhone 6 for a nice profit and I don't regret it one bit.

the odd part is once you've owned one for as little as a week or 2, the size doesn't seem so awe inspiring. Now it really doesn't seem so big to me these days.

I have not seen one out yet either, the girl at the northern tel dealer I bought mine from had never opened a box. She was very impressed when she saw it.

    - screen size
-Battery life (amazing with 24/7 data on)
    -keyboard with touch
    -Sound quality
    -speaker phone
    -Build Quality
    -Unique

Agree on the size it really doesn't feel too big in hand. That is until you pick a Z10 or iPhone then you notice the difference.

Yes, I know the feeling... I did the same, saw several pics and reviews, but I wanted a physical kb... the que seemed too small after using a z30 so my option was to trust my guts and get it... now after using for a while, the screen is not really that big and the other phones are weird... and I am getting better at typing everyday... I was missing the space bar a lot pressing B but now this happens in very few occasions... but definitely it's not for everyone, especially if you don't give the device some time to grow on you... I was one of the people who thought at first sight that the device was too big and now it's my normal size phone...

I had never seen one until I picked up from the dealer. He hadn't seen one until I opened the box.

Visiting Legoland in the Vaugnhills mall in Toronto and I've been to three stores playing with the Passport but none of them sell off contract let alone to a NYer. Only options were to find someone who had an account with them so they could get it for me or get it online.

At least I've seen it and touched it. The soft sounds of Lionel Ritchie "Hello" playing in my mind while touching it, checking the menus, testing the volume.... *sigh*.

Forget Telus and go see one at your actual carrier unless it's not one of the big 3

Just saw the Passport in the flesh for the first time. At a friend's house. I like how thin it is - thinner than Z30. That helps cut the bulk despite its wide screen.

Went into Telus today and used the Passport for the first time today. I had seen an inoperable model before but never gotten to use 1. It really is amazing - gorgeous screen, fantastic camera, and the keyboard is really a breeze to use. Compared to my Q10 the keyboard really does feel natural to me, and I don't hate the virtual rows as much as I thought I would. Swipe gestures worked perfectly, I'm very impressed. I'll probably not pick one up anytime soon though, it's too big for it to be practical for me.
