I just thought I'd share some screenshots of my experience so far with Firefox on my Passport.

It runs smoothly and I've installed a few add-ons, such as AdBlock, GreaseMonkey etc.

    I luuuv my Passport....

    Oh! What a relief.

I was hunting for this ever since I got my Z10. I am a heavy user of Firefox and figuring out how I will use bookmark syncing with BB10.

Can you explain the process? Is it available from Amazon? Or is it via Snap?

    Thanks for your help.

I found it listed with 1Mobile.
Google 1Mobile, download APK and install.
Search for Firefox in 1Mobile app and install.

What's the process for installing 1mobile? Does this work on the Z30 or only Passport?

Haven't tried it. Don't really use it.

Why don't you install Firefox for yourself and report back?

I installed it a while ago to run something at work. Works well, however it is a mixed bag. Html5 score is lower, sunspider is (strangely) better. Page loading/scrolling is much slower. Scrolling on the keyboard is not as good - there is no momentum to the scollbar.

For those addicted to FF, it will do what you want. I still use the BlackBerry browser day to day. It is a great second browser!

I'm still on 10.2.1 and running an older (and I think it's some kind of a beta) version of FF (v 23). At the time, this was the only known version of FF to run on BB 10. All newer versions of FF I tried since would not work.

I'm guessing that with 10.3.x OS, things are different; newer version of FF actually runs. Looking forward to the official 10.3.1 release

The direct link to the Mozilla ftp site worked from my Passport SQW100-1/10.3.0.1418. The apk installed and worked.

Is it possible to load flash on Mozilla?

    Cool!!!!
Nice to have options. As others asked - what about FLASH?

I am also curious if TOR would work and/or has a mobile variant available.

Any comments on this from users?

Only gripe I had with this app was no option to go back without having the bottom bar present. Prefer to have all my Android apps without the bottom bar. Apart from that I actually preferred this to native.

I downloaded it via SNAP just now. (Z30 on 10.3.1.1154) Works just fine. Installed adblock plus from within Firefox just fine. The built in Blackberry browser is ultra smooth...firefox a bit laggy not too bad though. About the same as it runs on my new Galaxy 8.4 tab that I wish I had never bought. The Galaxy tab will do more weird things out of the blue while scrolling though...like suddenly enlarge everything when you swipe down the Z30 is solid on your scrolling or enlarging actions.

You installed Firefox directly from Snap? I downloaded Firefox from Snap but as soon as I open the program it just closes itself again.

Register your EMAIL address and password once you open the App . I think everything will work fine after that.

    2 problems so far.
    1. Keyboard scrolling is slower than the native browser.
    2. Not sure how to get xmarks to work within the browser and not a separate app.

But I just started using it and I do not remember my Firefox password so my bookmarks might be fine.

Have you tried diagonal swipe from the bottom? Go from bottom right to upper left, that is the shortcut for back button in android apps.
