Well I was pleasantly surprised that I now have propped visual Voicemail on my Passport. For those that don't know what it is or how the UI looks. It's basically a list of all your messages, name of caller and the ability to play and pause in the phone without having to dial the VM box. Also "visual voicemail" appears in Hub and in the "phone" app.

AT&T implemented it well in the US but in Canada none of the carriers wanted to support it with Blackberry. I guess BlackBerry figured a way around it.

So it works well even if the carrier doesn't support it? (for that specific device...)

I need to look into this. I hate conventional voice mail. It is one thing I like better about my iPhone than my BlackBerry.

Is it only available on the passport? Or can you get it on a z30 running 10.3?

Same. Have it on Rogers. All features as described by op. And it's integrated into the hub. Isn't this carrier specific?

I specifically see visual voicemail as an item on my monthly bill.....

Yeah it does, I was told I didn't have it (Fido) but after installing latest leak it was available and working for me.

On T-Mobile USA that feature is available since 10.0 for all the BB10 devices
I am actually shocked that it was not possible to use it until now on your carrier. It is definitely really convenient

Bell had it in Canada. Today it's no longer carrier specific.

Rogers visual voicemail was essentially a text with a wave file attached. Now it's totally integrated into the phone like iOS or other carriers who previously worked with BlackBerry to make it work.

Who is your carrier for the Passport? I have had visual voice-mail on my Z10 with AT&T and then with my Z30 on Verizon. The Passport does not have it yet on AT&T as they have not provisioned the phone in their system yet. If you have AT&T, please let us know how you got it to work.

    Thanks.
