So no big news here as I know everyone has had the option of holding the phone.
Two surprises based on what I had read/heard previously.
    1. How nice it felt in the hands, albeit two. I heard things like "top heavy" but it feels great. Not the feel of, but the ergonomics feel natural in the hands.
    2. The other would be the keyboard. It sounded like a large adjustment but right off the hop I felt the keyboard felt quite natural.
I will admit the small space bar will take a lil getting used to. But for how well I was typing in the first 5 min, I could only imagine how good I could get within a few days.
These were two of my concerns cause I need a functional phone that is also comfortable and a joy to use.

This is all coming from a Q10 user.

So many great phones. Even within BlackBerry there is a tough choice. Big screen powerhouse and the envious eyes...or the Classic which will be that great phone that is also still one hand useable.

I haven't had any issue with the spacebar at all but the top-heavy thing can come into play when typing longer messages once in a while. I think overall the phone is really good but not quite perfect. But then again, we won't ever get a device that is perfect for everyone.

I held it for 20 seconds In the telus store at yorkdale (toronto). Then it's batteries died and I had to leave.

I have no idea how I feel about the keyboard. Or the feel yet

I didn't even try it, I walked in to Telus said can I have a Passport and they said yes, offered to set it up and I said no. Tried it when I got home and was sure it was going to take a few days to get use to it, but it's going better than I suspected.

I don't think the Classic will have the specs of the Passport. It seems more like a mix of the 9900 and the Q10. The Passport is the flagship now, and it looks and feels the part. I used to think it was ugly and even though I bought it, while I was waiting for it to be delivered I kept wondering if it would be ugly in-person. I was so wrong. It's like a piece of art. I just stare at it sometimes when it's on a table or desk. It's beautiful. It's a joy to use and I love waking up every morning now because I know I have a full day ahead to use it...it's that awesome.

Agree SK1. The Classic will definitely not have the specs of the flagship PP.
