My passport takes forever to load pictures. I only have about 400 in the folder I use to select them from but it takes a while. Especially if I save a photo from the browser or something, and then I'll go back to select that photo, and it still has the 'save file' bar up at the top. Then after 5-10 seconds it'll bring up my photos.

Is this an SD card problem? Should I order one of the high performance ones CB posted today?

Hope that makes sense.

Current is just a regular 16gb SanDisk SD card

SD card can greatly affect performance...

But first test saving pictures to your internal storage and then open those. As from time to time I've noticed some issue using the camera and opening images.... usually a reboot fixes this for a while.

Turn off automatic stories. It will help when using the Picture app.

It's 100% due to the SD card. That's what you get for buying the cheap crappy ones.

Thanks guys.

Mainly the file viewer. The pictures app opens perfectly fine and loads pretty quickly. The lag comes mainly in situations like when I save a photo from the Web, open MockIt to put it in a photo frame, add a picture, and then the previous 'file saving' screen is still up and takes some time to revert back to allow me to select a picture.

Want a 64gb SD card, so if I knew it'd help, I'd grab a good one today.
