how do you "unlock my workspace" which presumably allows me to transfer files, pictures...music etc to folders on my passport. I assume the work space password is my passport numeric 4 digit number. Or is it my home network password ?

I also have a Qnap server at home.

The Blackberry Blend shows Desktop pc as offline with a USB connection .

I ended up just going into C drive and cut/past some files.

    What do you do ?

Doesn't your phone need to be connected to a BES server for workspace to work?

I haven't used blend yet, so take this with a grain of salt...I think you still need to setup Blackberry Link, for seamless transfer of files, and backup of data, that sort of thing. Blend is just used for remotely accessing the features of your phone on the computer.

If your passport shows up as a drive in my computer, then copying and pasting perfectly fine, in fact that is the way the majority of people transfer files to and from the BB. IMHO.
