Just curious if anyone has found a quicker way to enable desktop mode while web surfing, other than going into developer settings or hunting for website based link at the bottom of a page.

Would love a keyboard shortcut that could toggle it on/off quickly. Maybe I'm missing something?

Use Browsie and simply press F = instantly in desktop mode, press it again to be back in mobile; the keyboard shortcuts are super helpful. Really has been an upgrade to the way I use the device and Dann has been very responsive to my questions about the app.

Thanks for the option but I'd like to do that without having to download another app. Hopefully someone knows another possibility.

There is no other possibility. The default browser simply offers no shortcut, nor a way to avoid having to drill down in settings.

Haha, funny someone dug up this thread today; it never received any original replies.

I've been using Browsie ever since I made this post and I've been more than happy with it. Check it out everyone.

not a good fix but you can set private browser to desktop mode while leaving nonprivate (not sure what to call it) browser in mobile mode.

Since I don't use private browser I just keep it in desktop then hit open in private if I want it
