The facebook new update has been installed, when I tried to open it a window showed up telling me that I should log out first and directed me to the browser's version of facebook?

So does anyone else has the same problem

So remind why is it still called a facebook app,is it just a better way of saying that we are no longer going to support facebook similarly to what is going to happen with whatsapp

They turned the app into a homescreen shortcut.

It's what they are calling a feature.

You can go to FB and set email alerts. That takes care of your hub alerts. Everything else works just as well on the browser because BB10 browser is quite good.
