Could be pretty much anything though.
My poor co worker I talked into buying a Z10 a few years ago brought his phone to me tonight with the same problem, been trying to find a work around. Must be something Fbook is doing tonight that isnt playing nice with the BB10 browser. (Side note, I sure miss BB10 after playing with this Z10 tonight)

Never had any Problems with the BlackBerry Browser. I'm using my Facebook only on the Browser no Issues.

I have two handsets, a Q5 and a Q10.
Both are experiencing this issue. Something strange is going on with FB.
I wonder if this is because I Facebook is removing the messenger function from the mobile site to force users to install the app? I've had the same issue for the last few days but I don't visit the site that often.

Same problem for me. Tried restarts, restores to no avail . May be a wait and see job until FB fix it. Tried accessing via browser without app. Still crashes.
Same thing happening last couple days. Nothing has resolved it.
Just forget facebook, they dropping blackberry so, why bother using them?

Just a thought....
But for those with the crashing issue.
What version of the facebook app do you have installed?
Do you have an older version, or that new version that changed the app to a browser?
Posted via CB10
I have the old version only because I had to reload the OS last week. But I'm accessing it via the Web browser.

Any ETA for 10.3.3 (as a follow-up to your comment at the link above)?
Sent from the pure awesomeness of my Passport SE on the Rogers network. Excuse the typos.
Not app sir. Crash on BlackBerry browser. End up using f10. Was happy with the browser before.

FIX for the Facebook Issue... I have found that if you DELETE the Latest Version of the Facebook v10.8.x.x etc.. Yes Remove it from your BB Z10 and Passport, I have done this and.. Just open your BB Browser, start typing in m.facebook........login will show, select it.. Put in your USER NAME and PW, you will be able to Log Into your Account... I have tried it on both my Z30 and Passport... It works fine.. Now the Disclaimer.. First, I'm not a Facebook user per say.. my wife is and was telling me the issue.. So started testing and playing with it.. and what I found is what I have stated above for Resolution... Secondly, I only share this with you as what I found works as to logging in and using facebook.. your at your Own Risk , again this has to do with the FACEBOOK latest app on BB World Facebook Ver. 10.8.x.x Earlier version still work as expected.. Hope this Helps..
I have removed the apps weeks ago. I still have the crash. With every restart. You can go to the webpage without crash. After couple time, it will crash again. Just be patient like blaze said I guess for now. Maybe BlackBerry are cooking a browser with notification to work for Facebook and whatsapp Web. Finger cross.

You can use UCbrowser it has facebook notifications...
I did an autoload and they still have BlackBerry fb so for now I refuse to do the bogus BlackBerry fb update which is not an update at all but deletes BlackBerry fb and places a link on your screen to open BlackBerry browser to fb. Try opening BlackBerry browser and go to fb Web page without using the fb link on your screen, maybe a glich on the link?

Now talk them into getting a Passport or Z30?

turn on desktop mode and DO NOT use mobile site address. Works for me only with regular facebook.com address.
Another fix try described here by clearing cache and going in and out of desktop mode. http://forums.crackberry.com/blackbe...l#post12463740
Been happening all week; have tweeted to BB and BBHelp (only way to get support these days) and no response or information. Tried the BB community forum and no info there either. After years of owning a BB and hanging on hoping things would improve, I am ready to move on and get a different Smartphone.
I tried this and the browser still directs to m.facebook.com after typing in www.facebook.com. To be clear, I turned on desktop mode, closed the browser, reopened then typed in.

But it still does not make sense. What the hell is Facebook trying to do intentionally. Do they have some grudge to BlackBerry or something.

Same issue here on my Passport. It's bad enough that I have lost my notifications....now it's just completely inaccessible.
