how to? just download the app and use it?
Just go to the browser Facebook and than create home screen icon.
Only use the app for messenger and notifications.
Open BlackBerry World. Search for Facebook. Install. Open.
Unfortunately the facebook app is horribly broken on BB10. The best option is to use the browser and go to m.facebook.com (and you can save a link to that on your home screen). The downside of using the mobile version of facebook is that the hub integration remains broken. I really wish blackberry would fix/update the facebook app, but I doubt that they will ever add any new features to OS 10. They've committed to fixing security bugs, but other than that I doubt that new features will be forthcoming.
What I've done is save the mobile version on my browser as a backup. I found a working android Apk facebook and have been using it as my primary Facebook app (laggy for sure so I bounce back and forth on this and the browser). I hid the native app in a folder to continue hub integration.
Because of BB10 poor performance on FB, I'm no longer using... FB.... :-)

Bodes well for a supposedly software company who cannot even get their own Facebook app working properly. Bbry won`t survive the winter, I prophesy.
It's not necessarily BlackBerry's fault. Facebook does not provide a full set of APIs for the latest features.
Blame Facebook for not really supporting BB10.
I find the BB10 FB app works ok BUT not ALL notifications from FB in the hub open the app. The one notification that always fails is " _______ shared _______ post" most shared pictures, links and notifications from groups work. Have spoken to BB Service and after trying reloading app they stated that it is under investigation and no ETA of repair.
Granted, Facebook hasn`t been supportive of bbry`s effort, but the app as it is, with the limited api available to it, does not even work properly most of the time. And to abandon the app as it is right now, reviewed as bs in general by users, is a slap to loyal customers, who has supported the company while they were on life support.
OP, like others have stated, add the mobile site to your homescreen and use the BlackBerry App only for notifications and messages.
Whether it's BlackBerry or Facebook's fault, the app is horribly broken.
It's annoying, but it comes with the territory of using a BlackBerry these days.

Facebook has never been supportive. When HP launched the Touchpad tablet, HP included their own Facebook app optimized for tablets. They had to, 'cause Facebook said they wanted the iPad to be the first tablet with a tablet optimized FB app. So FB limited API access on webOS 'cause FB was mad that HP beat the iPad (in the sense of being the first with a tablet optimized FB app).

So is this Facebook's fault, Blackberry's fault, or a combo of Facebook not supplying the right API and BlackBerry not doing any maintenance to their app?

They should advertise BB10 as a platform for FB addicts and cleansing
We don't know for sure, but my gut says it's mostly Facebook's fault. The old APIs have not kept pace with the app, and actually conflict with it. This explains why it's getting worse.
Although, in the end, it doesn't matter.
Would you or anyone else happen to know if the FB app on Windows or any other mobile OS besides android and iOS have the same problem? If they don't, I think that would suggest that it's BlackBerry's fault right?

You really means Windows then, right? I'll check.
Yup. If the FB app is broken on BlackBerry since they don't give them the API, then the only FB apps that should work are the ones from iOS and Android right?
I think you see my logic but I'm not sure lol

Just checked. Windows has an official version from Facebook themselves.
Damn. I don't know where to go from there.

Use Facebook from browser. It's officially from FB too. I only use the app for the hub part.

FB for WP is really crap man!! I used for some months in the nice 640....but it is kinda of crap. It shows posts without any logic order... In the last update there was some improvement, but still far below fb for BB10

That's way low. BlackBerry still hasn't even updated their app to include replies to comments. A lot of post get the dreaded "this post could not be loaded" screen.
