I downloaded the fb app from Google play store but it's not working. I am not able to login through it. Can anyone help??

Try using the web version of Facebook and create a home screen icon from settings in browser.

Then go download BlackBerry Facebook for notifications and messager

Or you can use third party Facebook Apps like Fast, Tinfoil, Flipster or even Facebook Lite.

Why don't they make a decent facebook apps for BlackBerry,, my default fb apps often fail to load...

The bb10 app has gotten better but the android app has much more functionality. I think it requires Google Play Services though.

Because Facebook doesn't care to create the app specifically for BlackBerry. And the one BlackBerry has created is limited due to copyright laws. Or so I have been told and read up on.

You need to dig up version 28.0.0.20.16. It was one of the last well working Android versions. You'll have to google it.

FB is unproductive... and since BlackBerry is more on productivity, as their propaganda, they probably intentionally made the FB BB10 version crippled...

Go to website called APKMirror. It should have older versions of Facebook app.

OK got it,installed,tested and liked; feels more big as an App,takes some time to load the app,but you have all the bells and whistles. I'll use it only if it's necessary.

That is sad to know.. I don't know why there should be any copyright issue here... since facebook is a social media

If Facebook made it them selves no copyright issue.

But when BlackBerry wants to make a Facebook app them selves, that's when copyright comes into play.
