Honestly, I don't think it's possible. If yes, you must have some mad fingers. I'm up to about 48 WPM, but I'd say my average is about 44 WPM. At 48 WPM I'm already typing like mad. 60 WPM is a lot faster, like 25% more.

Well, I reached 56 and slipped up once or twice, on the passport. I'm beginning to think 60 is possible. I will keep trying haha.

Not sure if Passport will ever have ultimate speed of previous brlackberrys, but for sure more than 60wpm is possible. This guy in a old 9000 manages 75wpm

Bold keyboard was something else. I'm not convinced that the Passport can be as quick. The travel time for keys is substantially larger for starters.

I would agree with that....the side to side travel would cost some time.

The more you travel too, the more likely you are to land on the wrong key, especially with no indicators on any keys. Then there is the fact that the bold had the ergonomic curved layout. The Passport has a straight layout which does not let you type simply by moving your thumbs. There is actually a lot of wrist movement on the Passport as well. Pay close attention to how you type, and if you still have a Bold lying around, check that too. Finally, there is the fact that you have a hybrid between physical and virtual. Different tactile feel, way less symbols readily accessible. It's all good and we'll to type just words for pure speed, but text has punctuation, symbols, etc., all of which have to be typed.

Don't get me wrong, whether it's 50 or 60 WPM, it's all really fast.

By the way, I finally passed the 50 WPM mark.

This is my high score. One word per second.

EDIT: Sorry, I thought I was still in the Q10 forum. This is not with a Passport.

Damn, this is like another league. I don't think my fingers can physically move that fast any more. Then again, I thought I'd never hit 50 WPM a few days ago
