Please share and rate your eReading experience with books, mags and comics on the Passport. Which apps did you use, does the light dim and is the aspect ratio good enough to replace the Kindle?

Hi there. I'm really enjoying reading on my passport. The kindle app works a treat and because the battery lasts for ages i actually find myself reading for longer and browsing the net more.
The way we hold the keyboard means that we never have to touch the screen so you don't end up obscuring your view of your book which I think is a great advantage. It also feels closer to holding a book compared to other phones. I still have a dedicated kindle personally but you can sync between the two with your bookmarks as well.

Im not sure if this counts but its working great with comics. Bam comic reader from app world works flawless on passport with .cbr comics that I downloaded from the pirate bay.

I read a lot and my experience has been very positive so far. I use Kindle and Overdrive on the Passport and am enjoying the experience. In Kindle you can use the space key to go to the next page. In overdrive you can use the capacitive keyboard to scroll through a chapter. It's really pleasant reading on the passport and the whole 60 characters on a line thing was a great choice and very noticeable when comparing to landscape screen devices. I would say it's on a par with the note 3/4 if not slightly better for reading. I do miss the amoled screen of the note 3 I had but totally understand why BlackBerry went with LCD IPS for the Passport.
