It shouldn't. At least not until the end of 2019. Maybe they're deciding to shut down some of the servers. But hey, they're 'fully committed to continue to support BB10'

Blackberry Ltd (in Canada) stopped selling hardware over 2 years ago, and BB10 devices stopped 3 years ago. What do you expect?
If you want a keyboard, get a KEYone or a KEY2

It's probably just maintenance. Relax I'm sure it will be back up in no time. BlackBerry LTD is committed to the end of 2019

There’s nothing official..... have you opened up support ticket with BB Ltd? Everyone should open up support ticket if y’all really that concerned. Like BBM problems several days ago, support tickets alerted BB there was even a problem. It’s not like anybody in BB is using the old devices and monitoring BBW.

I loved blackberry becaused passport! no keyone or keytwo or more needed. if my passport will be unusefull next time I dont believe blackberry again to buy anything device of blackberry. passport is perfect PKB, every people love it

Not me. I prefer the regular BlackBerry PKB from the beginning to know. The Passport version PKB has always been odd to me.

I think I had WhatsApp on my 9900 but that was long time ago. I have WhatsApp on my PRIV, DTEK and KEYone. It’s just fine on those devices. I’ve read that Key2 is good upgrade over KEYone and supports WhatsApp.

No, of course not. BB doesn’t even make devices anymore. They left business almost two years ago. BB10 is dead and will not come back. BBMo and it’s new devices are what’s left. Passport was sales failure. KEYone and successors are the future devices if you want PKB...

He would have been kicked out really fast if he destroyed BlackBerry. Public companies are beholden to their shareholders. He could not make BB10 a part of profitable BlackBerry so he had to leave it behind.
I might argue he killed BlackBerry's soul for a chance to be alive. Whether that is a good tradeoff or not is another debated.
