It works for me on my iMac. Here are the steps:

    1. Reset Mac SMC (System Mangement Control) (it's easy-see below)
When and How to Reset Mac SMC (System Management Controller) | OSXDaily

    2. Uninstall Blend and Link using the the .dmg software. After you uninstall you need to take one more step. Go to "Macintosh HD / Library / Application Support / BlackBerry and delete the folder.

Restart. Reinstall, Link now seems to work flawlessly; Sachesi and Blend too.

Many thanks, this worked for me. Key to this seems to be deleting the blackberry folder in the Application Support folder.

Resetting the SMC is supposed to help with USB issues. I did it out of precaution.

Does Remote File transfer work for you?
It works for me on Windows 10, but never did on any OS X.
Meaning: In the file manager on my Passport I see both devices: MacBook Air and Surface Pro 3.
I can see the entire file structure of my Surface Pro 3, but nothing from my MacBook Air.
There seems to be some kind of connection though. My Passport does recognise, whether the MacBook Air is online or offline.

The other way around always has worked for me: I can access the data from my BlackBerry on the MacBook Air...but not vice versa = the MacBook Air data on my Passport...

Yes, remote file transfer is working for me from File Manager so I can see the relevant files I set up access to while in Blackberry Link. I can also transfer files to my iMac via bluetooth for instance.

Make sure that your files on the Mac are not encrypted.
If they are, either on the Mac or on the Passport you cannot copy them from one device to another.
