    On my BlackBerry Passport, I only have one email account. That account is an Outlook.com account.
    I just noticed today, that all my Contacts are doubled. I should have 74, but, I have 148.

    Curious, I logged into my Outlook.com email account online, and I do NOT have duplicate Contacts. I opened my Microsoft Outlook 2013 from my desktop, and again, I don't have duplicates.

    So, why does my Passport show duplicates? I even used Blend to remotely check (yes, just for the sake of it), and yep, the Passport has duplicate Contacts.

    Weird, no?

    Probably synced with outlook and downloaded them to be local contacts, and then you will see local and outlooks contacts

    ...thanks for the tips. But, that didn't help. I cleared Local Contacts (via settings), and the duplicates are still there. Not sure what would have caused them to duplicate in the first place.

    For the sake of it, I'm restarting the device now, JUST to see what happens.

    Open Contacts then click on a contact then click on Links. You will see the contact source under the name. Check to see if the duplicates are from different sources. Sometimes Contacts can sync to your Desktop via BlackBerry Link.

    Good tip CyberMan2013. But, all contacts are pointing to the same place. As a test, I renamed my email account, and then checked Contacts, and they all (those that I checked) pointed to the new account name I created.

    I was having the same problem so what I did was add all contacts to my sim card and disabled the sync from my Gmail and deleted all the duplicates and I'm good now don't know if I did it the long way but it's done

    Curious, did your GMail have the duplicates showing online, too?
    My Outlook.com does NOT show the duplicates, that's what's weird. Only the Passport shows duplicates...

    As others suggested, I turned off Contacts from syncing to Outlook.com, waited a minute, then turned it back on. Now only ONE set of Contacts are showing.

    Thanks for all the help; normal life services can resume now

    Yeah, the BB10 Contacts Synching gets confused sometimes so it needs to be reset. I get what they are trying to do but the logic needs work.
