    No, no and no, respectively.

    There's a virtual SIM thing, but that needs BES and isn't worth the hassle for 99.99% of users.

    If I remember correctly there are some Alcatel models with dual-SIM capabilities, although they give up the SD slot in favor of the second SIM. I'd rather have a SD card, frankly.

    Eh, with the level of coverage and roaming agreements (if need be) it's not an issue over here.

    Maybe in the third world.

    Yeah most probably, I used to pay a minimum of $350 for my phone bill should I go overseas for a few days that month. Sometimes more if I make more phone calls.

    There was even this one time I landed in Indonesia and I was sending some WhatsApp messages to the person who arranged my pick up coz I couldn't find the meet and greet guy. Those messages already cost me $150 on roaming data for WhatsApp messages.
