It had a Seidio surface case on it. That pretty much did nothing as the top half of the Seidio came off. It landed flat on its back from waist height on asphalt, probably about a metre. That has happened with me with other phones and it has damaged the case or other bits. Not the Passport.

I don't exactly treat my phones with TLC. They go on building sites, get thrown around a lot and even the biggest test of all, I let my 7 year old use it! The Passport is as good or better as any other phone I have had to take a bit of punishment. The Passport is my 25th or 26th mobile including about 10 "smartphones".

I've dropped mine a few times now. The first (on pavement), I mercifully had it in a gel case, but the other two or three times it was naked.

Not a mark on it. It's wide, and not the lightest phone out there, but it's VERY solid.

Dropped mine twice. Once on asphalt and once on concrete. When it dropped on asphalt it slid about a meter on its face. Not a scratch to the surface but left a mark on the edge that it landed on. Tough phone for sure!

Dropped my naked Passport from a table that's about a meter in height. Spent the next 10 minutes trying to find dents and damage.... FOUND NOTHING.

Y'all are lucky...I dropped mine while trying to put it in my pocket and even with the BlackBerry hard shell case it cracked the screen. Gorilla glass isn't impervious to drops, just minor in-pocket key scratches and such

My naked passport was on my lap sitting in a car. I forgot it was there, got out of the car and the passport fell face down on a concrete parking lot floor. Nothing happened.
