I had it before but replaced my Passport. After that an OS update was supposed to fix this problem but I have never seen it back. So either they fixed in the newer hardware builds or the OS.

What's funny is that in Priv forum people were complaining about their keyboard missing key strokes when you type fast. And one of the theory was their fix for Passport becomes a overkill for Priv keyboard. But I think they fixed it too over there... maybe the fix for Priv introduced the double typing back for Passport? Assuming the debouncing code are shared across platforms.

The last few have the double typing adjustments. I suggest you load 10.3.2.2813.

A few months ago I had it and then an OS update fixed it (double typing recognition I suppose).
    Now, it's back. I have PassportSQW100-1/10.3.2.2876.

Same issue with the same letter on an AT&T unit. Just started about 2 weeks ago... Extremely frustrating with the amount of typing I do.

My double type turned to those same keys, right side typically bnmjkl, not always working. So the software update did nothing as it was a physical issue. Had little issue explaining the problem to ATT who sent out a replacement and I am happy again :-)

No it is not hardware issue, or it is an hardware issue that's addressed with a software update.
I had terrible double typing issue, and it went away after an update.

I'm with AT&T and everybody knows that we never get updates so I'm really in a hole with my Passport. The double typing is driving me nuts. I'm thinking about ditching my passport (for what? Not sure yet) or maybe just go back to my Z30. Bummed.....

Is it still under warranty? I would call and get it exchanged because the update isn't a permanent fix. Eventually the double type gives way to non-functioning keys. Traded mine in months ago with no issues since.

Software can help a key the repeats but it can't fix the problem of a bad key. The key double and triple types at first but eventually gets worse and the key stops working completely and software can't make a broken key type. That's why it's a hardware issue that requires replacement.

My first PP continually had double type issues despite any updates. After it malfunctioned and I received a replacement, it has been free of that issue altogether.

Then we are talking about two different issues. Double typing on a specific key might be hw issue, but I think an hw issue would more likely be not typing or getting stuck, for example.
Anyway, I am happy that my Passport works like a champ with no more double typing after sw update.

Starting to see double typing issues on my passport. It is very intermittent. Different letter every time. Strange it does not seem to happen in the CB10 app. I'll keep typing until it happens aggain. <- Bingo

Is there a solution for this? I would prefer it if it didn't happen.
