If you still have it on 2813, then your keyboard is in a bad way.

Have you considered replacing the keyboard? They are cheap and easy to do yourself. Many videos on YouTube will show you how.
    Thank you, Conite.
Yes, I thought about replacing the dang keyboard myself--and it is indeed cheap. But after seeing the YouTube video, I don't think I can handle such a delicate job (so many small parts and tearing). I think I'll just pay a specialist to do that. There are quite a few in my city, in the same building with the shop where I bought the phone, months ago.

Double entry of letters -- for me it is: c, b, n, m (most of the bottom row)
However, this OS 2876 is the second OS with which the double entry has occurred. Thus, does this mean that I have a hardware issue -- the keyboard? Or, is this a continuing OS issue, but just for some users?

The problem is inherent with a pkb. It's not a defect per se, unless you deem anything above a particular artificial threshold as "defective". As parts wear out over time, the problem worsens. Typing styles can speed the process.

The software can compensate by introducing a delay, and they play with that compensation level from time to time. They dialed the delay back a bit with 2876.

You can either go back to 2813, or consider replacing your keyboard.

I agree. There's something wrong with the software, I would be typing "I am going to" and then all of a sudden I get "I am going going." It's a hardware + software problem.

I get that on my Z10 with both .2876 and .2813, so it has to be software related, not hardware.
