Don't know how if anyone else noticed how well dosbox turbo runs on the passport with the built in keyboard that is supported by default. Nice to play old school dos games again

Is it at all possible to use the hardware keyboard? That would be amazing.

Oh I gotcha! I thought by built in keyboard you meant on screen with the app. Excellent!!!!

Thanks for the heads up! I'm gonna play Police Quest 2!

See, threads like this should be turned into front page articles on CrackBerry! There's lots of cool BB10 content out there. Thanks so much, OP.

Just an FYI for anyone who wants to run dosbox. I noticed after installing the apk and running it that it treats Blackberrys download folder as drive C: so all you have to do is put your dos game folder into the downloads folder then type CD (name of dos folder). Then you can do a DIR of that folder or just run the. exe if you already know it

I found a really good apple 2 emulator too. I played an ancient Sierra online game on it. Ah, memories of my youth.

The passports wide screen and built in keyboard makes it the perfect choice for computer emulation

Hmm... There is a native version of dosbox as a plugin for retroarch. It can emulate adlib but the keyboard doesn't work. I think it would better to use a native but... Android version simply works. The sreenshot made in native app but it doesn't need a keyboard (but needs mouse, ScummVM works pretty well)

Just keep in mind it's an emulator so it will drain your battery.

BTW, I love monkey island! The sword fights were so much fun! I love day of the tentacle too. LucasArts used to make such fine adventure games.

I've made a mistake. It's built-in core included in the newest version, you can check author's github. BUT: keyboard donesn't work (I'll check OTG mouse and keyboard later). If you want to play some LucasArts quests use ScummVM instead (android only, I've heard about a Playbook version but it won't work on BB10)
